Road vehicles complement your trains. They have far lower capacity for cargo, however.

Clicking on any road vehicle on the map will open the road vehicle info window with several tabs:

• Road vehicle Statistics (Please note: this is unfinished feature in the game at the time of this page being created.)

Passenger Vehicles

Passenger transportation is the main source of Money Tokens in this game. Passenger vehicles are used to transport Passengers between towns. Passengers arriving at a town will also increase the town size. Also, if you have enabled Passenger Destination, the people will automatically transfer between buses and trains. That way you can increase the amount of people at train station, bringing them from the far away parts of town.

Mail Vehicles

Another way of generating Money Tokens in the game is to deliver Mail between Post Offices. These buildings appear in the Steam Era and they show up in all towns on the map. Mail works in a similar manner to passengers , including Passenger Destination with automatic transfer of the Mail between trucks and trains.
Delivering Mail also contributes to the town growth.

Logging trucks

Logging trucks are used to carry Logs from Forests to the Sawmills.

Timber Vehicles

Timber vehicles (also known as Lumber Trucks in North America) take the Timber produced by the Sawmill and either transport it to the Toolworks to be converted into Timber Tokens or to Coal and Iron Ore Mines to increase their productivity. You can also bring Timber to the Factory to produce more Goods . Planks are also used to repair Ruined Church.

Coal Vehicles

Coal vehicles are used to transport Coal from Coal mines and Forests with Charcoal Oven extensions. The Coal is then taken to Foundries for making Iron , Toolworks for converting to Coal Tokens or to Sawmills with Steam Sawmill extension to increase productivity. Coal is also used as a fuel in Steelworks and Coal Power Plant.

Iron Ore Vehicles are used to transport Iron Ore from Iron Ore Mines to Foundries to produce Iron

Diesel/Chemical Vehicles

Diesel/Chemical vehicles are used to carry barrels (or bulk) of chemicals from Refineries to Factories to earn Diesel Tokens or to Farm with Chemical Fertilizer Extension to increase production of Food . The flamable chemicals (aka diesel fuel) could be also transported to Steelworks and Oil Power Station to be used as fuel.
