Lanscaping Tools

Bulldose Tool Landscaping Bulldose.png

The Bulldose Tool Removes all player owned buildings on the selected tiles. The tool will not work on Town and base Industry buildings, however the tool will work on extensions built by the player on the Industrial buildings. The tool returns aproximatly half the cost of the building being destroyed, an example: Platforms cost 10 Money Tokens (Token money.png) to build, when bulldosed, they return 5 Money Tokens (Token money.png).

Raise Terrain Landscaping Raise.png

The Raise Terrain Tool in Use

The Raise Terrain Tool increases the elevation of all the sellected nodes by a height of 1. This results in any terrain features being moved upwards by one step. This tool is comonly used for adjusting the elevation of a single node in order to use the Flatten Tool. The Raise tool is usefull for creating ramps up to bridges as well as small adjustments to terrain. It costs 8 Money Tokens (Token money.png) to raise a single node by a height of 1.The image shows the Raise Tool being used, note how all the nodes are raised by a height of 1 from each of their origional positions.

Lower Terrain Landscaping Lower.png

The Lower Terrain Tool in Use

This Lower Terrain Tool works simmilar to the Raise Tool, the sole difference is that this too decreases the height of all selected nodes by 1. This is a usefull tool for creating downhill slopes into tunnels, as well as ajustments to the terrain. It costs 8 Money Tokens (Token money.png) to raise a single node by a height of 1. The image shows the Lower Tool being used, note how all the nodes are lowered by a height of 1 from each of their origional positions.

Flatten Terrain Landscaping Flatten.png

The Flatten Terrain Tool in Use

The Flatten Terrain Tool works differently from the Raise and Lower Tools. This tool sets the height of all selected nodes to be the same height as the first node selected. When using this tool it is important to select the correct first node as otherwise it will set all nodes to the incorrect height. This tool is good for railway embankments and cuttings through the terrain, as it sets all selected nodes to the same height regardless of their previous height. If a selected node is blocked by a building, the node will not change height. It costs 8 Money Tokens (Token money.png) to raise a single node by a height of 1. Unlike the Raise and Lower tools, flatten can raise each node by more than a height of 1, hence it is possible for the Flatten Tool to have height costs, especially when dealing with large height differences.
