The Iron Ore Mine is the source of Iron Ore [[File:icon iron ore.png|16px]], it is used only by the [[Foundry]] where it is combined with Coal [[File:icon coal.png|16px]] in order to create Iron [[File:icon iron.png|16px]]. Iron Ore Mine is an [[Ages#EraII|Era II]] building, therefore when transitioning from the [[Ages#EraI|Early Steam Era]] to the [[Ages#EraII|Steam Era]] several Iron Ore Mines will appear in random locations across the map.
